First thing to address is that series 2 & 3 blind bags (which should be at Gamestop) are no where to be seen. Some blind bags from series 2 have appeared on ebay which means they are out there but who knows when we'll get them. I do hope blind bags are placed at other retailers besides Gamestop.
Series 3 sets have been appearing at retailers in other countries such as the UK but no sign of them in the USA. Oddly enough collectors in the U.S. have now been able to buy series 4 starter packs from Five Below and Amazon has two new Super 15 sets and a nice 8-Pack made up of Bugatti and GM vehicles. We should be getting series 4 world packs soon.
If you've been waiting for licensed sets, this news is what you and many other MM collectors have been waiting for.

THE FUTURE IS GOOD FOR MICRO MACHINES
Licensed Sets Coming!!
This is great news for MM collectors new and old. Over all people are positive about the line so far but some collectors were looking forward to licensed sets. I think the sets that have been released are a good start but I too was expecting to see real world vehicles.
I got some tidbits of info on Youtube and instagram from the founder of Wicked Cool Toys himself Jeremy Padawer. Toy enthusiast Pixel Dan, on Youtube, at the end of an interview asked Jeremy about Micro Machines. Mr. Padawer looked very excited about the line and said that licensed vehicles would be coming in the future.
I was so excited to hear this from the founder himself. The gears in my brain went wild with what could be made under licensed properties. Who's up for some Halo Micro Machines?
For those of you who wanted makes and models of real vehicles, this should be great news to your ears. It looks like we won't have to wait too long because Jeremy said on instagram that licensed vehicles would be coming in spring. One more thing. Keep an eye out for the fun new Micro Machines commercial!

SETS FOUND IN STORES
Starter sets 1-4 found at Walmart locations
It looks like sets are appearing ahead of fall as planned. Starter sets 1-4 are on shelves and in some cool displays at several Walmarts. The 3pk sets are Farm, Construction, Race Team and Muscle Cars. I found all four sets at a local southern California location on a shelf but I did not see a display.
I was not sure about the new MM but I find that they're nicer than I thought they would be. The wheels on the new MMs are bigger than the previous versions. I first thought the wheels were too big but I noticed that the cars have slightly bigger wheels than the 90's MMs but the bigger vehicles such as trucks or haulers have larger ones which makes perfect sense. And the metallic paint on the wheels was a good idea on WCT's part. I also appreciate the more low profile look of these next gen micros which I feel will better depict a more realistic look.
This next generation of micros have started well so far but I would like to see some licensed vehicles in the coming future.

MICRO MACHINES TO COME BACK IN 2020!!!
Yes, this is incredible news. Hasbro will be joining with Wicked Cool Toys to bring back Micro Machines. Will we be getting car or IP sets? I'm not sure but we will be getting more news later this year. I am so excited to hear this news and look forward to what we will be seeing in stores in 2020.
